the school of Tabora Boys was established in 1922
it holds a rich history as one of Tanzania’s oldest and most prestigious educational institutions. Initially established to educate the sons of African chiefs and wealthy tribesmen, the school has evolved into a renowned center of academic excellence, producing numerous prominent figures in Tanzania’s political and social landscape. Notably, the school counts among its alumni Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, the father of the Tanzanian nation.

The late Mwl J.K Nyerere
the father of the nation 13 April 1922 – 14 October 1999) was a Tanzanian anti-colonial activist, politician and political theorist. He governed Tanganyika as prime minister from 1961 to 1962 and then as president from 1962 to 1964, after which he led its successor state, Tanzania, as president from 1964 to 1985.

The Late Samuel Sitta
(18 December 1942 – 7 November 2016) was a Tanzanian CCM politician and Member of Parliament for Urambo East of Tabora Region . He was the Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania from December 2005 to 2010[1][2] and Minister of East African Cooperation from 2010[3] to 2015.
